It started snowing just a bit last night. It wasn't that good full snow but more of a wet junk snow. Still it made it feel like the holiday season is upon us, albeit a recession holiday. What's with the stock market? It's like a moody teenager. When it was announced that (surprise) we've been in a recession for a year, it dove even further. It's as if to say, “oh yeah? I'll show what a bad economy I can really be.”
I walked through the West Village on my way to the League of Independent Theater meeting. Sunday morning there is so peaceful. So are mid-week afternoons. A good time to wander around, drink coffee, read papers and think thoughts. There's a vibe that's really conducive to that there. Too bad the spots are going away.
